Our Changing Landscape

The Suffolk coast has always inspired creativity and innovation. The Leiston Book Festival brings together inspiring writers and enthusiastic readers, for a day of exploration, debate and discovery.

Each author on our programme has written from a different perspective about our changing landscape. Together they form a day long programme that will inform, inspire and perhaps encourage you to see the world a little differently.

A Day to Inspire

Be sure to put the date, Saturday 7th September, in your diary, and join our mailing list so that we can tell you the moment our programme is complete and tickets go on sale.

The Leiston Book Festival will take place at Leiston Film Theatre, which is Suffolk’s oldest surviving cinema, which opened in 1914 and is itself well worth a visit.

The festival is managed by a group of volunteers, led by local author Robert Ashton.
